Act Together Project, financed from US Embassy in Tirana, aimed to strengthen the dialogue mechanism of women and young people with local authorities to assess and improve local government activity in Kukes region.
Women and young people, have an important role to play in public policies. They can influence the decision-making process to ensure that these processes are carried out appropriately by meeting public needs, and they can monitor the implementation of local government policies forcing accountability, thus reducing opportunities for mismanagement.
The initiative was be implemented for a period of 6 months in three local units of Kukes Region, namely: Kruma Municipality, Malzi Commune, Shishtavec Commune.
